At Radiant Minds, We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated mental health team. Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including patient history, mental status exams, and physiological assessments to determine mental health diagnoses.
- Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements, ensuring safe and effective treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to individual needs, including behavioral health interventions.
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, primary care providers, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and medication management.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and available community resources.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects aimed at advancing psychiatric practices and patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current valid license as a Nurse Practitioner with certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP).
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations including children, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs.
- Experience in administering Spravato treatments and oversee patient monitoring for safety and efficacy.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for documentation and patient management.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology, including medication administration, drug interactions, CPT coding for billing purposes, and DEA regulations for prescribing controlled substances.
- Experience in behavioral health settings such as outpatient clinics, inpatient units, or crisis intervention programs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and engage patients empathetically.

Pay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hour
