Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Alexander Vasserman DDS. Located in a welcoming environment, this role is vital in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting optimal oral health for our patients. We are looking for an hygienist available to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays .
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments and cleanings to maintain optimal oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments provided.
- Implement infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the dentist.
- Utilize medical imaging equipment to assist in diagnostics as required.
Qualifications
- Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
- Strong background in patient assessment and care techniques.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and protocols.
- Ability to perform medical imaging procedures accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
