Normal work shifts: 6am to 2:30 pm
Wages Hourly: $18 to $21.00 per hour based on qualifications.
Summary
As an Inventory-Stock Room Worker, you will be essential in the inventory control and manufacturing process, focusing on timely and accurate inventory receipts and movements. Reporting to the Inventory Management team, and coordinating with production, purchasing, service and others you will use accuracy and good communication skills to maintain inventory. Inventory counts, put-aways and computer skills are required. You will also utilize your knowledge, inventory experience and tools to perform your tasks and contribute to a team dedicated maintaining high standards, accuracy and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Job Specification:
· Receive incoming materials shipments: Verify counts, Quality, put away materials in designated storage area/bin and Receive materials in ERP System.
· Maintain accurate and organized storage of raw materials.
· Accurately Pull and stage materials for the production and service teams assembly/shipping process
· Receive and issue the materials in the ERP System to maintain system accuracy.
· Coordinate schedules with production teams to ensure maximum plant efficiency is maintained.
· Coordinate and verify the accuracy of all incoming materials prior to receipt into the ERP system.
· Report discrepancies to inventory management
· Complete accurate Cycle counts as required
· Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Possess good manual dexterity and the ability to work at a quick pace.
· Load and unload trucks as required.
· Communicate effectively with internal and external teams via email and reports to ensure good information flow
Job Skills required:
Ability to drive forklift and maintain forklift certification
Ability to read mechanical prints and wiring diagrams is preferred.
Able to lift up to 60 pounds at various times during the shift.
Work Standing and sitting throughout the day
Good computer data entry skills to receive and issue materials in ERP system
Must be well organized and practice 5S to maintain storage areas.
Good communication skills to ensure accurate information exchange with stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate: 3 years inventory experience
Requirements:
AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE USA, E-VERIFICATION IS MANDATORY
Ability to 40 hours per week and maintain consistent work schedule
Applicants preferred to have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
Applicants are preferred to have had at least 3 years’ experience in inventory control positions
Applicants must hold a Regular driving license
Applicant must Be able to lift up to 60 pounds
Ability to commute to American Signal Company. Atlanta, GA 30360
