About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of patient rooms, public areas, and other areas of the facility. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize patient rooms, including bathrooms, floors, and surfaces
Restock linens, toiletries, and supplies as needed
Empty trash and recyclables, and replace with new liners
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment
Clean and sanitize public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and common spaces
Maintain the organization and cleanliness of storage areas and supply closets
Respond to special requests and tasks as assigned by supervisors or nursing staff
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies (up to 50 pounds)
Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk between patient rooms and public areas
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling patient information
