Want hands-on experience working inside a growing e-commerce and consumer brand?
Alter Ego Running is looking for part-time Operations & E-Commerce Interns to join our team. We're located approximately 1 mile from UNF and offer flexible scheduling that can work around classes.
This is a hands-on internship. A major part of your role will be helping our team fulfill and ship customer orders, but you'll also get exposure to the day-to-day operations behind a growing e-commerce brand.
You'll see firsthand how products move from inventory to our website and ultimately into the hands of customers.
No previous fulfillment, warehouse, or e-commerce experience is necessary.
What You'll Do
Your primary responsibility will be helping our team fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
That includes:
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Preparing orders for shipment
- Printing and applying shipping labels
- Restocking and organizing inventory
- Helping receive and organize incoming products
- Maintaining an organized fulfillment area
- Assisting with inventory counts
- Supporting fulfillment during product launches and busy periods
- Helping with other operational projects as opportunities arise
- Opportunities to learn other areas of the business such as marketing and social media
What You'll Learn
This isn't an internship where you'll spend your day watching someone else work.
You'll get hands-on exposure to how a growing consumer brand operates, including:
- E-commerce order fulfillment
- Inventory management
- Shipping and logistics
- E-commerce operations
- Product launches
- Customer experience
- Operational processes and workflow
- How a growing consumer brand operates behind the scenes
Interns who show initiative and interest may also have opportunities to take on additional projects and gain experience in other areas of the business.
Who We're Looking For
This could be a great fit if you're currently pursuing a degree, certification, or other educational program and want practical business experience while you're in school.
You don't need previous industry experience.

Students studying business, marketing, operations, supply chain, logistics, entrepreneurship, sports management, or related fields may find the experience particularly relevant, but all majors are welcome.
Schedule
Part-time: typically 10–25 hours per week, with hours varying based on your availability and business needs.
Typical shifts are Monday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM or 1:00 PM–6:00 PM, with flexibility to work around school and class schedules.
Our facility is conveniently located approximately 1 mile from the University of North Florida (UNF).
Compensation & Perks
