Job Summary
Deloach Law Firm, P.C is seeking an experienced, organized, and client-focused Personal Injury Case Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of personal injury case management experience and be comfortable managing a case from intake through resolution with minimal supervision. If you have no experience working a case from beginning to end, please do not apply.
This role requires someone who can independently move cases forward, communicate effectively with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and attorneys, and maintain accurate, detailed records in our case management system. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and OneDrive is required.
The right candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, compassionate with clients, and able to balance a busy caseload in a fast-paced personal injury law firm.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement or transfer to litigation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, keeping them updated and ensuring they feel supported throughout the process.
- Gather and review case documents, including accident reports, insurance information, medical records, bills, photos, wage loss documentation, and other supporting evidence.
- Open and set up insurance claims with liability carriers, UM/UIM carriers, MedPay, health insurance, and other applicable parties.
- Communicate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, lienholders, and other third parties regarding case status, records, bills, and claims.
- Request, track, and follow up on medical records, billing records, balances, liens, and reductions.
- Maintain accurate and organized case notes, tasks, deadlines, and documents in case management software
- Monitor client treatment status and proactively move cases through each stage of the pre-litigation process.
- Assist with preparing cases for demand, including gathering final records, bills, lien information, photos, wage loss documentation, and other damages evidence.
- Draft professional correspondence to clients, providers, insurance companies, and other parties.
- Calendar and track important deadlines, follow-ups, appointments, and case milestones.
- Work closely with attorneys, legal assistants, and demand writers to ensure cases are progressing efficiently.
- Identify potential issues early, including coverage problems, liability disputes, treatment gaps, missing records, lien issues, or client communication concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of personal injury case management experience preferred.
- Experience handling personal injury cases from beginning to end independently is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and OneDrive.
- Strong understanding of the personal injury pre-litigation process.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while staying organized and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate case notes and records.
- Ability to communicate with clients compassionately and professionally.
- Comfortable speaking with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and third parties.
- Ability to identify case issues and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Strong follow-through and ability to work independently.
- Bilingual ability is a plus, but not required.

Pay: Starting $55,000.00 - $70,000 per year (Based on experience)
