We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead HVAC Service Technician to join our team, dedicated to delivering exceptional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions. Responsibilities
- Lead field service activities including HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose electrical diagnostics issues, mechanical systems faults, refrigeration problems, and plumbing concerns with precision.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and building automation system diagrams to execute complex projects efficiently.
- Troubleshoot equipment using specialized tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other hand tools to identify root causes swiftly.
- Collaborate with clients to provide expert advice on HVAC design improvements and system upgrades tailored to their needs.
- Supervise junior technicians during service calls, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions for accountability and future reference.
- Ability to operate CRM platform (i.e. ServiceTitan)

Requirements
- 8+ years residential HVAC experience
- Proven experience in construction or property maintenance with a strong background as a service technician in HVAC/R environments.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC system repair, installation, and maintenance across various systems including heating systems, air conditioning units, heat pumps, refrigeration systems, and building automation systems.
- Skilled in electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, plumbing work, welding techniques, and mechanical systems repair.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and apply HVAC design principles effectively during installations or upgrades.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- EPA 608 Universal Certification. Certifications such as EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) refrigerant handling license required; additional certifications in electrical systems or appliance repair are advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with hand tools, ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic devices necessary for field service excellence.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
