About Haydon Holdings
Haydon Holdings is a fast-growing, family-owned holding company with subsidiaries across Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. With roughly 250 employees today and adding team members steadily. We're looking for a Senior HR Generalist to serve as a true partner and backup to that role.
This is a hands-on, in-office position for someone who wants to help shape an HR function as the company scales — not just administer programs, but build the systems and processes behind them.
What you'll do:
- Serve as a trusted HR partner to managers and employees, acting as primary backup to the Director of HR
- Lead employee relations matters, including investigations and documentation
- Run full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, offers, onboarding
- Evaluate, write, and administer HR policies, ensuring consistent application and compliance
- Support benefits administration and help lead process improvements, including moving HR recordkeeping paperless
- Maintain HRIS (PayCor) data integrity and prepare HR reporting
- Assist with compensation reviews and annual merit planning
- Deliver training to employees and supervisors on HR policy and compliance
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience, ideally in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site environments
- SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems; PayCor experience a plus
- A self-starter mindset — comfortable moving forward without waiting to be told
- Strong judgment, discretion, and adaptability in a fast-changing, growing organization
- Willingness to operate as both a strategic partner and a hands-on doer — this role covers the full range of HR work
