Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities within the housing facility, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment for residents
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary, de-escalating conflicts and addressing urgent safety concern
- Monitor security protocols, including access control, surveillance checks, and incident reporting
- Administer medication as prescribed, following proper documentation procedures
- Collect data on resident progress, maintain accurate records through data entry and filing, and support case management efforts
- Facilitate behavioral health and behavior management strategies to promote positive community interactions
- Coordinate with social work teams to connect residents with community resources and services
- Conduct regular safety checks, first aid when needed, and respond promptly to emergencies or incidents
Requirements
- Supervising experience in residential or community settings preferred
- Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to manage conflict effectively
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with residents, staff, and external partners
- Ability to perform data collection, data entry, filing, and maintain detailed records accurately
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures following proper protocols
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion
