We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. Duties
- Perform various types of massage techniques, including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual needs.
- Maintain knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively address client concerns and enhance overall wellness.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that clients feel comfortable and valued throughout their treatment.
- Collaborate with other health professionals within our center to promote holistic care.
- Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
Requirements
- Valid state certification or license in massage therapy.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques.
- Experience with various massage modalities, including deep tissue and trigger point therapy.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to perform patient assessments to tailor treatments effectively.
- Previous experience in a med spa or similar environment is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
