As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. You will be responsible for various tasks, including food preparation, cash register operations, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the food preparation process.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, handling transactions with care.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the work area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment regularly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing change.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
- A commitment to maintaining food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential.
