Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Real Estate Development and Property Management Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our Property Builds, Rehabs and Rental properties while providing exceptional service to tenants and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities management, real estate administration, and customer service, along with the ability to effectively negotiate and manage property-related tasks.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with regulations.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and oversee repairs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Assist with tenant inquiries and provide outstanding customer service to enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Utilize Yardi software for property management tasks, including lease administration and financial reporting.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure competitive pricing and quality services.
- Maintain accurate records of property activities, including lease agreements, maintenance logs, and tenant communications.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support leasing efforts and promote available properties.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of facilities management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with real estate administrative processes is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on tenant relations.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and contractors.
- Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software is highly desirable.
- Experience using CMMS for maintenance tracking is advantageous.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with tenants and stakeholders.
- A background in law or understanding of legal aspects related to property management is beneficial.
