The Soccer Director is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the soccer program. This includes supporting coaches, helping players develop their skills, managing program operations, and building positive relationships with families and the community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Leadership
- Develop and maintain the overall vision and goals for the soccer program.
- Support player development across all age groups.
- Promote a positive and enjoyable environment for players, coaches, and families.
Staff Management
- Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate coaches.
- Provide guidance and support to coaching staff.
- Organize coaching meetings and training opportunities.
Operations
- Oversee day-to-day program activities.
- Coordinate field schedules, team placements, tournaments, and equipment needs.
- Ensure practices, games, and events run smoothly.
Administration
- Assist with managing the program budget.
- Support fundraising and sponsorship efforts.
- Ensure compliance with league and organizational policies.
Community Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for parents, players, and coaches.
- Build positive relationships within the community.
- Assist with promoting the soccer program and increasing participation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· At least 21years of age.
· A United States citizen.
· A New York State and Dutchess County resident within 20 Mile commuting distance.
· Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Possess a valid New York State Driver’s License.
· Must have at least two (2) years’ experience in Leadership
· Must have two (2) years’ experience in childcare and children’s activity planning.
· Must have two (2) years’ experience in Administrative Operations OR Sports Management
· Must have four (4) years’ experience in Soccer-related activities
· Must have current First Aid/CPR/AED Training Certification
Pay: $4,285.00 per year
