Job Overview
We are seeking a caring, experienced, and nurturing Early Childhood Educator to provide age-appropriate learning and developmental support for a 15-month-old child. The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through play-based learning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and developmental activities.
- Foster language, sensory, motor, and social skill development.
- Engage the child in interactive play, storytelling, music, and creative activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.
- Support daily routines, including meals, naps, and hygiene practices.
- Monitor developmental milestones and provide regular progress updates to parents.
- Encourage positive behavior and emotional development.
- Organize indoor and outdoor learning experiences.
- Follow child safety and health guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with parents to support the child's developmental goals.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with infants or toddlers (0–3 years).
- Knowledge of child development milestones and age-appropriate learning techniques.
- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, dependable, energetic, and passionate about early childhood development.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or play-based learning approaches.
- Ability to create engaging educational activities for toddlers.
- Understanding of infant and toddler nutrition, sleep routines, and developmental needs
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
