Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and drive fiscal excellence across the organization. Duties
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support organizational growth.
- Oversee all aspects of accounting functions such as general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and industry-specific regulations.
- Manage regulatory reporting requirements and coordinate audits to maintain transparency and adherence to legal standards.
- Direct treasury management activities including cash flow analysis, investment oversight, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop financial projection models using advanced data analytics tools to inform strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Lead a high-performing finance team by providing mentorship, fostering professional development, and promoting best practices in financial management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in finance leadership roles with extensive knowledge of financial analysis, corporate accounting, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, and public accounting practices.
- Strong proficiency in accounting systems, financial software, Excel data analysis tools, and technical accounting concepts such as ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and accrual accounting.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk analysis, risk management strategies, and compliance management within complex regulatory environments.
- In-depth understanding of industry-specific financial regulations and industry knowledge of financial markets.
- Exceptional strategic planning skills combined with the ability to develop innovative financial models and forecasts that support organizational goals.
- Excellent leadership capabilities with experience managing finance teams, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement in financial operations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret complex financial reports clearly for diverse audiences.
