Job Description:
The IPA Relations Specialist supports managed care operations by maintaining provider rosters, patient attribution data, health plan reporting, and provider participation records.
This role serves as the primary liaison with Independent Practice Associations (IPAs), health plans, and internal departments to ensure accurate provider and patient data while supporting network performance and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience, preferably in an outpatient or FQHC setting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, data entry, electronic medical records, and business email.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Review and reconcile monthly provider enrollment and roster reports from IPAs and health plans.
- Monitor patient attribution and provider-member assignments.
- Analyze provider and membership data for accuracy and operational improvements.
- Coordinate with health plans and internal departments to ensure accurate member-provider assignments.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership.
- Ensure compliance with health plan, IPA, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Credentialing, Operations, Quality, and Managed Care departments.
