Lantech Communications LLC handles day-to-day installations for the Major Cable TV Companies and Internet providers. We are looking to hire more qualified technicians who can provide a positive experience for our customers.
Job Type: 1099 Contract
Responsibilities
- Resolve, repair, and install Fiber and Coax internet in accordance with guidelines.
- Ability to set up and configure residential networking equipment such as ONTs, routers, and switches
- Analyze and record test results within prescribed parameters by performing testing on company-issued devices and customer devices.
- Interface with customers to identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
- Drive a vehicle between home/office, warehouse, and work sites in a safe and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and stocked vehicle with equipment in order to be prepared to perform required duties.
- Complete paperwork accurately and report and record all work order status updates
Requirements:
- Previous experience with Coax/Fiber instals
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- SSN and work authorization
- Pass background check and drug test
- White truck, van, or SUV (rental available)
- Basic tools and ladder (rental available)
