We currently have positions available in our Westborough Neurology office, with additional opportunities becoming available in the coming months at our new Leominster ENT location.

Responsibilities:
- Answers telephones, triage patient calls, send messages to appropriate staff
- Copay collection
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal information.
- Obtains and Documents Testing Prior-Authorizations
- Verifies Insurance Eligibility and Benefits
- Maintains assigned provider schedules
- Obtains and Documents Referral Authorizations prior to patient appointment
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
- All other duties as directed by the Practice Manager
Skills:
- Excellent Telephone, Written and Inter-personal Communication skills
- An understanding of Insurance plans and CPT / ICD-10 codes is preferred
- Familiarity with web-based Insurance navigation and overall internet and computer skills
- Possess both an individual and team-based work style, with a positive attitude
Qualifications
High School diploma or Equivalent
1 year medical office experience
Medical terminology
Excellent phone and strong customer service skills
