Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality restorative placement (amalgam and composite restorations), sealants, and contouring under direct doctor supervision.
- Provide dynamic, skilled four-handed chairside assistance during complex restorative and surgical procedures.
- Take high-quality digital radiographs, intraoral photos, and digital impressions.
- Educate patients on post-operative care, treatment plans, and oral health maintenance with a compassionate chairside manner.
- Collaborate closely with your assigned doctor and clinical team during morning huddles to optimize daily patient flow and operatory setup.
- Maintain complete compliance with sterilization, OSHA, and infection control standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current Ohio Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) Board Certification.
- Active Ohio Dental Radiography (X-ray) License.
- Active CPR/BLS certification.
- Proven experience in restorative placing and finishing with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
