Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to oversee
our store operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing inventory,
ensuring the accuracy of stock levels, and optimizing logistics to support our dynamic
supply chain needs. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining high standards of
efficiency, safety, and employee performance.
Responsibilities
- Train and manage the store team to solve day-to-day operational issues and
reach short- and long-term performance goals
- Oversee inventory management processes, including receiving, storing, and
shelving products
- Maintaining cleanliness levels of store locations according to applicable
performance work statements
- Conduct regular audits of shelved goods to ensure all expired products are
removed
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for
all team members
- Develop and deliver training programs for new employees on store procedures
and safety regulations
- Maintain positive relationship with Project Manager, Store Director, Store
Manager, and QAEs and manage any issues and concerns in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align store operations with overall
business goals
- Hiring and termination of shelf stockers, janitors and warehouse personnel as
needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in store operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory
role
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and logistics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve operational
efficiency
- Forklift certification or experience in operating store equipment preferred
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Familiarity with electronic timekeeping software
- Experience with supply chain management principles and practices
