Job Summary
Immediate opening Local Night Shift Driver. Full & Part-time
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating tankers, to transport Ethanol through out northern Ohio and Eastern PA. returning to Canton daily. The Truck Driver will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Drive assigned routes to deliver Ethanol safely and efficiently.
- Operate tankers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, hours worked and mileage driven.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck is upheld at all times.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of route driving principles.
- Familiarity with operating tankers is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
- MUST have HAZMAT on license.
