Do you enjoy helping people and providing excellent customer service? The City of Marinette is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our Water and Wastewater Utilities team.
As one of the first points of contact for our residents and businesses, you’ll play an important role in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the daily operations of our utility office. As a Customer Service Representative, you will:
· Provide courteous customer service in person, by telephone and through email.
· Answer customer questions regarding water and wastewater utility services.
· Process utility payments and maintain accurate customer account records.
· Balance daily cash receipts and process deposits.
· Process mail and perform general administrative support duties.
· Assist with utility billing functions and payment arrangements.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
Schedule: Part-Time - 20 hours per week. Monday - Friday, 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Pay: Starting Wage: $19.45 per hour. Step wage increases. Annual cost-of-living adjustments (COLA), subject to Common Council approval.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Three (3) years of general office experience involving significant public interaction. At least one (1) year of customer service experience. Strong computer skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
