Overview
Young at Heart is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our busy primary care/family medicine practice. The ideal candidate has hands-on primary care experience and is proficient in eClinicalWorks (eCW). This role is vital to delivering efficient, compassionate, and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Room patients; obtain vitals, medical histories, and medication lists
- Document accurately in eClinicalWorks (eCW)
- Assist providers with exams and in-office procedures
- Administer injections, perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection (as applicable)
- Prepare and clean exam rooms per infection control standards
- Manage medication refills, prior authorizations, and follow-ups
- Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals
- Educate patients and communicate care instructions clearly
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant experience in Primary Care or Family Medicine
- Working knowledge of eClinicalWorks (eCW) –A Plus
- Strong documentation and multitasking skills
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Graduation from an accredited MA program

- Ability to stand/walk throughout the clinic
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
