Position Summary
Our growing pediatric practice is seeking a compassionate, reliable Medical Assistant to join our team. This position provides both clinical and administrative support to pediatric patients under the direction of a provider and/or licensed nurse. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and families while delivering excellent patient care and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Communicate professionally and effectively with providers, patients, families, and colleagues.
- Collect patient information and assess patient needs under the direction of the provider or nurse.
- Accurately communicate patient information and concerns to providers and nursing staff through verbal communication, written documentation, and the EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Perform front-office responsibilities, including patient scheduling, visit preparation, co-payment collection, and patient tracking.
- Collect, process, and prepare laboratory specimens.
- Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, performing hearing and vision screenings, and assisting with other clinical procedures.
- Maintain exam rooms and ensure supplies and equipment are stocked according to office policies and procedures.
- Complete routine administrative tasks, including copying, scanning, filing, and data entry.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support patient care and office operations.
Hours: 8:30-5:00 Monday- Friday
Location: Lakewood, Ohio
Hourly Compensation: Competitive

Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records, preferably EPIC, is preferred.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant, EMT, or Paramedic program is preferred but not required.
- Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
