Candidate will work with Supply Coordinator and Purchasing Manager to develop your own purchasing and sourcing role within the department. Duties will include constant communication with suppliers in order to understand current relationships and build new relationships. Perform all duties relating to incoming product, inventory management, purchase orders, traffic and importer issues, product claims, and other general clerical duties. Must be hands on, dependable, accurate, and capable of multi tasking and have excellent analytical skills including inventory reports, costing and projections. Must possess excellent communication skills both written and oral and be familiar with Microsoft software. You must like to negotiate, discuss and execute purchase orders based on the corporate needs. Purchasing experience is required. Candidate must be dependable and able to work effectively with other departments and Management within the company and be able to work as a team player as well as independently.
