Extended Day Assistant – Early Childhood
Start Date: Now
Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday 3-6pm, Friday 12:30-6pm
Starting Salary: $16.50/hr. – Maximum Salary: $26.50/hr – based on years experience
The Hartsbrook School is seeking qualified applicants to support our after school program. Responsibilities include managing daily activities of the Extended Day Program to ensure a high quality experience for the students that reflect The Hartsbrook School’s philosophy and values.
Qualifications:
- Experience with camp programs and working with children
- Supervisory skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with colleagues, parents, and families
- Solid understanding of the needs of children of varied ages
- Experience with Waldorf education is a plus
- Enjoys working outdoors
- Enjoys working with students
Requirements:
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
- Allergy/Epi-Pen training
- Mandated Reporting
- Ability to pass CORI check and fingerprinting
