We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Detailing Technician who shares our commitment to quality, professionalism, and dependability. Position Overview
This is a very part-time, on-call position that primarily provides coverage for another team member when needed, along with additional work as business demands increase. Some assignments may be scheduled in advance, while others may require availability on shorter notice.
The ideal candidate understands that reliability is just as important as detailing skills. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, shows up when they commit, and represents our company professionally.
As Diamond Mobile Detailing grows, this position has the potential to expand into more consistent hours and additional responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional interior and exterior vehicle detailing on a variety of passenger vehicles, vans, buses, and commercial fleet vehicles.
- Wash, dry, vacuum, shampoo, clean, polish, and protect vehicle surfaces to company standards.
- Remove stains, clean upholstery, condition interior surfaces, and restore vehicle appearance.
- Operate detailing equipment safely, including vacuums, extractors, polishers, pressure washers, and steam cleaners when applicable.
- Travel to customer locations throughout the Twin Cities Metro Area.
- Work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and efficiency.
- Maintain detailing equipment, supplies, and a clean work environment.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service while representing Diamond Mobile Detailing.
- Follow all safety procedures when using chemicals and equipment.
- Communicate promptly regarding availability, scheduling, and job completion.
Qualifications
- Previous professional automotive detailing experience.
- Experience detailing fleet vehicles, commercial vehicles, or high-volume work is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing consistently high-quality work.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and work throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 12 months.
- Reliable personal transportation to job sites throughout the Twin Cities.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.

Schedule
- Flexible, on-call scheduling.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
