Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including electrical, powertrain, transmission, suspension, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing or repairing faulty components such as engines, transmissions, suspensions, electrical wiring, and ADAS modules.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and tire rotations to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to carry out repairs with precision while adhering to safety protocols.
- Diagnose issues related to diesel engines and perform necessary repairs or replacements to meet manufacturer specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to estimate repair times and communicate effectively with customers about their vehicle’s condition and required services.
Skills
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Proficiency in interpreting automotive wiring diagrams, schematics, and vehicle systems documentation.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, alignment procedures, and vehicle transmission system repair.
- Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, suspension systems, vehicle electrical systems, and diesel engine repair.
- Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools, welding equipment, and various hand and power tools for repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Strong technical proficiency combined with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
