Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to uphold health and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling ingredients when needed
- Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all dishware and serving items are clean and ready for service
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of tables and proper food handling procedures
- Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and food handling to promote a safe working environment
- Contribute to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen by performing general cleaning duties as assigned
Experience
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with food service operations, including bussing, food preparation, or catering environments is a plus
- Experience with kitchen cleaning routines or hotel service roles enhances your candidacy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
