Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled and licensed CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate well.
Duties
- Operate and drive tractor-trailer truck
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Make sure cargo is loaded and unloaded safely
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during transport operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with driving record that does not include any major violations
- Familiarity with route driving and the ability to navigate using GPS systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices in commercial driving operations.
