We are seeking an experienced equipment operator who can operate various types of heavy equipment with precision, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, productivity, and teamwork.
- Operate heavy equipment: excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, graders and other construction machinery.
- Read and interpret grade stakes, plans, and GPS equipment when applicable.
- Perform site grading, trenching, excavation, backfilling, and material handling.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Ensure OSHA compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Work closely with supervisors, laborers, and truck drivers to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites.
- Assist with other construction related duties as needed.
- Prior experience operating heavy construction equipment required.
- Experience with site work, utilities, grading, and excavation preferred.
- Proficiency with Topcon GPS systems for grading and layout is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of grading, site layout, and heavy equipment operations.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor when necessary.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
