Job Overview
One FC Houston is seeking motivated and passionate Youth Soccer Coaches to join our competitive academy staff. We are recruiting coaches to work with U8 to U17 teams in a structured, professional development environment inspired by European training standards.
This is a paid coaching position for coaches who are committed to long-term player development, willing to follow a defined methodology, and excited to work with ambitious young athletes. Coaches will be supported and trained by our Technical Director and integrated into a club-wide development plan to ensure consistency and quality across all age groups.
Duties
- Coach 1 to 2 competitive teams maximum (U8–U17), depending on availability and experience
- Deliver structured, high-quality training sessions following One FC’s European-based methodology
- Apply weekly training plans provided by the Technical Director to ensure consistent player development
- Develop players’ technical skills, game understanding, confidence, and discipline
- Create a positive, demanding, and supportive team environment
- Prepare teams for league matches and weekend tournaments
- Manage training sessions and games with a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and respect
- Track player progress and provide constructive feedback
- Communicate professionally with club staff and parents when needed
Schedule
- Training sessions: Late afternoons and evenings, typically between 5:00 PM and 8:30 PM (depending on teams)
- Games & tournaments: Weekends
Compensation
- Compensation is structured on a per-team basis, with additional pay provided for tournaments and extra competitive events, depending on team participation and coaching responsibilities.
- Compensation varies based on age group, team level, and coaching experience

Qualifications & Profile
- Previous experience coaching youth soccer (competitive level preferred)
- Strong interest in player development and youth mentorship
- Willingness to learn and follow a defined methodology
- Ability to work with players aged 7 to 17
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Coaching licenses are a plus but not required (development opportunities available)
- Reliable, motivated, and professional attitude
