Charter Creek Apartments located in Ashland, VA (150 Units)
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Tech with a strong knowledge of maintenance operations. The Maintenance Tech oversees all buildings, grounds, turnovers, and vendors. This job does require you to be on a rotating on-call system. HVAC certification is preferred, but not required and 1 year of maintenance experience. You must be able to work independently.
Skills and functions needed for this position include, but are not limited to:
* Must have a minimum of 1+ years of maintenance experience
* Must have a valid driver's license
* Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
* Must have strong knowledge of all general areas of maintenance, including, but not limited to plumbing, electrical, heating and air
* Must have the ability to follow written and verbal directive
* Must be able to work independently
* Must be able to take on-call emergencies on a rotating on-call system
* Must be a team player
* Must be able to work outdoors, and stand for a long period of time
