Overview
1 COLD STORAGE ROAD LLC. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cold Storage Operations Coordinator to support daily warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations. This role is responsible for coordinating cold storage activities, maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting inbound and outbound shipments, and ensuring efficient communication between warehouse teams, carriers, suppliers, and customers. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and experienced in managing operations within a fast-paced storage and distribution environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily cold storage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipment activities
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accurate and timely processing
- Maintain inventory records, storage documentation, and product tracking information
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, customers, and warehouse personnel regarding shipment schedules and updates
- Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and product location management
- Prepare shipping documents, receiving reports, inventory reports, and operational records
- Support warehouse scheduling and coordinate loading and unloading activities
- Monitor temperature-controlled storage procedures and ensure compliance with company standards
- Assist with resolving inventory discrepancies and operational issues
- Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and cold storage handling requirements
Requirements
- Previous experience in cold storage, warehousing, logistics, distribution, or inventory operations preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory documentation
- Ability to work effectively with warehouse teams, drivers, and management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory software, or ERP platforms
- Familiarity with cold chain logistics and temperature-controlled storage operations
- Knowledge of shipping documentation, freight coordination, and distribution processes
- Experience with systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite is a plus
- Understanding of OSHA safety standards and warehouse best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
