We are seeking an experienced Cook to provide ongoing care and assistance to participants by providing for individual dietary needs.

In this role, you will:
- Manage the quality preparation & service of snacks & meals in accordance with participant likes and dietary guidelines as set forth by a Dietitian.
- Ensure participant health and safety by ensuring correct portions and food consistency are served, and through the use of appropriate adaptive equipment.
- Perform weekly shopping in accordance with the participant's likes and dietary guidelines as set forth by a Dietitian.
- Maintain overall kitchen cleanliness & operation by performing daily household chores (i.e., emptying garbage, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning pots/pans, counter tops, ovens, etc.) and through the request to repair necessary items for maintenance of a sanitary environment and good appearance.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of food and kitchen supplies to meet participant needs by the daily restocking of the refrigerator and cabinets. Process food deliveries in accordance with food safety standards.
- Implement participant-specific programs by following the goal book plan to promote skills and independence.
- Serve as a member of the Interdisciplinary team by attending and participating in meetings to discuss participant progress and needs.
- Complete HACCP and kitchen safety training.
We require:
- Prior cooking experience
- High School diploma preferred
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities preferred
