FLOWER FIELD CREW MEMBER
Seasonal Job, March – October. We are hiring full-time flower field crew members for 40+ hours per week. This position will have primary duties of field work which includes planting, weeding, harvesting and designing flowers for market and florist sales, as well as assisting with any other necessary farm tasks. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work at an effective pace, accept and integrate instructions and feedback, and take a proactive role in asking for guidance when it comes to farm practices. This is a highly demanding position during peak season and requires speed, focus, physical strength and stamina on long days in any weather conditions. This job requires a do whatever it takes attitude and a person who can contribute positively to the general work environment. The ideal candidate must be flexible, pay attention to detail, work well with others and have the desire to help the business succeed. Farming, other outdoor physical work experience, knowledge of plants, nursery, floristry and Spanish/English fluency are all appreciated but not absolutely necessary. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Pay commensurate with experience.
