IMEG is hiring an Electrical Engineering New Graduate in Idaho Falls, ID to support the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings. This entry-level role offers hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience, with mentorship, training, and opportunities to grow your expertise from day one.
You will work closely with experienced engineers and consultants, contribute to project planning and budgeting, and collaborate with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams to help meet project goals and client expectations. This opportunity supports work across industrial, manufacturing, and MEP markets while building practical experience in client communication, quality processes, and integrated project delivery.

Assist in the design and analysis of electrical systems for buildings using engineering software and tools to develop designs, specifications, and calculations that align with code requirements and IMEG standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other engineers, architects, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet project goals
Required Skills/Abilities
Strong technical and analytical skills including knowledge of principles relating to circuit theory, electromagnetism, power systems, and electronics as they relate to electrical systems design for buildings
Knowledge of industry standard engineering software and tools, including lighting photometric calculation software such as AGI, Elum Tools, Visual Lighting, or other; energy compliance software such as ComCheck ; and familiar use of Adobe or Bluebeam Revu
Recent work includes U.S. Environmental Protection Agency / Ann Arbor, MI / National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory / Energy Savings Performance Contract Design Oversight and Construction Follow-on Services, Government (Federal); FSU / Social Justice Museum / New Building, Education; and Faust Farms WTP and WWTP, Housing
