The after school child care leader or aide is responsible for supervision of school aged children. General functions also include working as a team to create, plan and implement an age appropriate curriculum and activities, assist with homework, build relationships with children and families within program, as well as communicate on a daily basis to participants and families.
Must be able to provide immunization records as well as be willing to be fingerprinted upon hire.
Requirements and Job Duties:
-Availability Monday through Friday from 1:45pm-6:00pm (flexible)
-Attend health and safety trainings as necessary (required)
-Reports to director and assistant director (required)
-Conduct daily welfare checks on attending students (required)
-Reports all staffing and classroom concerns to supervisor in a timely manner (required)
-Responsible for opening and closing of facility (required)
-Any request the director decides for the betterment of the program (required)
- 12 Early Childhood Education units and 6 months experience working with school aged children (preferred)
