Patient Care Technician (ED Tech/CNA) – Travel Assignment
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days/Mid Shift – 4x12 Hours
- 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Patient Care Technician/CNA experience
- Emergency Department (ED) experience required – mandatory
- Active Washington CNA License
- Current BLS Certification
- EPIC experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
Responsibilities
- Obtain and document vital signs
- Perform EKGs
- Point-of-care blood glucose testing
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Turning and repositioning patients
- Routine catheter care and removal of urinary catheters
- Wound care and dressing changes
- Assist with splinting procedures and spine turns
- Prepare patient rooms, stretchers, and equipment
- Stock supplies and maintain unit readiness
- Assist with restrained patients and behavioral health patients
- Serve as a patient sitter when needed
- Decontaminate patient care areas and equipment

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Patient care Tech: 2 years (Required)
- Emergency room: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Washington CNA (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
