Maintenance Technician

Move Staffing is hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians for a leading food manufacturing facility in Zanesville, OH. If you have industrial maintenance experience and enjoy troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and keeping operations running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain refrigeration and ammonia systems.
- Assemble, disassemble, and repair production machinery.
- Perform welding and light fabrication as needed.
- Complete maintenance logs and equipment documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed safely while following quality and food safety standards.
- Assist with building and facility maintenance.
- Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday maintenance rotations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience with:
- 480V three-phase electrical systems
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Refrigeration systems
- Air compressors
- Welding and fabrication
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Must provide basic hand tools.
- Ability to complete respirator and hazardous emergency response training.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 70 lbs.
- Stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in hot, cold, and noisy environments.
- Wear required PPE, including respirators, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
