About the Role
We’re hiring an experienced, highly organized Superintendent to oversee multiple residential projects at once. This is a hands-on, mobile position. You’ll move between job sites each day, keeping projects on schedule, on budget, and to our quality standard. You report directly to the Director of Construction daily.
What You’ll Do:
Project Oversight & Scheduling
- Manage multiple active residential projects concurrently
- Travel between job sites daily to monitor progress, quality, and safety
- Build, maintain, and schedule all work in alignment with the project schedule
- Review schedules and provide meaningful input on required modifications
- Alert leadership to plan deviations, field conditions, or potential schedule conflicts
Documentation & Standards
- Read and interpret blueprints and approved plans to foresee and eliminate problems
- Document daily activities, site personnel, photo updates, and homeowner communication
- Adhere to and enforce the company Change Order Process within approval limits
- Comply with OSHA standards and promptly remediate any unsafe conditions
Trade & Subcontractor Management
- Coordinate trades and resolve field issues across all phases of construction
- Conduct subcontractor walk-throughs at least one week before related work begins
- Communicate clear work requirements to all subcontractors and employees
- Monitor and evaluate onsite crews; never install good work over bad work
- Coordinate and verify required inspections
Hands-On & Closeout
- Perform minor punch-out work and service calls using hand tools
- Develop project punch lists with the homeowner and complete within the agreed timeframe
- Maintain a professionally organized, clean jobsite at all times
- Assist with coding and approving invoices
Relationships
- Maintain professional relationships with subcontractors, architects, homeowners, and team members
- Attend pre-construction and homeowner meetings as required
- Report directly to the Director of Construction daily
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of construction experience
- Residential construction experience preferred
- Working knowledge across all trades, with the ability to read blueprints
- Strong construction scheduling skills
- Exceptional organization and the ability to juggle competing priorities
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, field-based role
- Reliable truck or van (required)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Pay: $83,382.48 - $110,417.62 per year
