About the Role
You’ll be a trusted partner on the front lines — managing timecard data, supporting internal communication, and ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time in a fast-paced, collaborative branch environment.
Branch Payroll Support: Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the branch, focusing heavily on collecting, verifying, and entering weekly timecards and payroll data from clients and field employees.
Inquiry Management: Act as the primary point of contact for field employees regarding payroll questions, wage verifications, and direct deposit setups, resolving issues with professionalism and speed.
Data Verification & Entry: Review payroll data for accuracy, ensuring hours worked match client approvals before final submission.
Documentation & Filing: Maintain meticulously organized digital and physical filing systems, ensuring all employee payroll records and onboarding documentation are securely stored in compliance with company policies.
Branch Administration: Support daily branch operations by managing phone calls, greeting visitors, and assisting with general office coordination as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with corporate payroll, HR, and client managers to ensure smooth communication and workflow integration.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role (experience within a staffing agency, payroll, or branch environment is a huge plus).
Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of discretion when handling sensitive, confidential employee information.
Deadline-Driven: Strong time-management skills with the ability to meet rigid weekly payroll deadlines while managing branch interruptions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-service mindset for interacting with clients and field talent.
