Quality Assurance Technician
Location: San Antonio (78266) | Department: Quality
Schedule: Monday – Friday 6am-3pm
Starting Pay: $16.00-$17.50 DOE
We are hiring! Vintage Air is seeking a detail-driven Quality Assurance Technician to help ensure our automotive products meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys working with data and measurement tools, and takes pride in producing quality work.
MUST HAVE TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE IN QUALITY WITH ABILITY TO ACCURATELY MEASURE USING CALIPERS, MICROMETERS & GAUGES - A MEASUREMENT SKILLS ASSESSMENT WILL BE REQUIRED PRIOR TO JOB OFFER.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify specifications
- Accurately document inspection results, nonconformances, and quality data
- Analyze quality trends and support continuous improvement efforts
- Communicate quality issues clearly with production and leadership teams
- Support calibration of gauges and inspection equipment
- Ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control (manufacturing strongly preferred)
- Strong computer skills — proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and related technical documentation.
- Fluent in English (read, write, and speak)
- Experience using measurement and inspection tools
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a production environment
Preferred Qualifications
- ASQ Certification or similar quality certification
- Experience with statistical analysis or quality management systems
