Attorney
An established firm based in Oakland, California with over 10+ years in practice is seeking a Senior Attorney with 10+ years of experience to join their team in a hybrid arrangement This role will focus on real estate litigation, foreclosure disputes, title issues, and breach of contract matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in complex litigation matters

Qualifications:
Active California State Bar license in good standing
10+ years of litigation experience with at least 2 years handling real estate matters
Strong experience drafting motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, writs, and appellate briefs
Proven ability to handle depositions, mediations, and courtroom advocacy
Excellent legal writing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
Experience managing a full litigation caseload independently
Prior law review, clerkship, or appellate experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings including mediations depositions and trial preparation
Draft and argue motions pleadings discovery responses and appellate briefs
Conduct legal research and analysis on complex real estate and foreclosure litigation issues
Manage cases from inception through resolution ensuring deadlines and court compliance are met
Advise clients on legal strategies risks and potential outcomes
Oversee and mentor junior attorneys and paralegals while supporting team development
