Description:
As a Cage Cashier III – High Limit, you will be responsible for processing monetary transactions and exchange with guests.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Perform frontline entry level transactions, cage credit transactions and employee bank/window transactions

Perform functions in a marker/IOU bank, cash bank, main bank and High Limit Slot or High Limit cages; may also service patron Kiosk/TRU units and employee Recycler/JetSafe units

Cash all types of checks for patrons within the specified guidelines; TITO (ticket in/ticket out) and Race and Sports tickets for patrons

Conduct both Marker transactions on patron accounts

Redeem all acceptable types of foreign currencies

Secure and document all recordable transactions made with company assets; record all checks cashed in the specified computer system

Complete electronic multiple transaction logs accurately, complete transaction logs manually, when necessary

Balance bank at end of shift

Assist patrons with general information upon request

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Education

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Required
Work Experience

1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Required

1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Casino Cage Cashier experience Preferred
Additional Requirements

Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Required

Experience with Title31 reporting Preferred

Experience working in a similar resort setting Preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-
General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handling

Ability to balance a bank without assistance (identifying errors when out of balance)

Demonstrate knowledge mastery of relationship between banks, especially main bank, and other banks and front service windows.

Working knowledge of 10-key adding machine, currency counter and cash advance machine.

Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms

Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment

Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine
