We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Control Manager to lead our manufacturing operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee production planning, scheduling, and control processes to ensure seamless manufacturing workflows. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize supply chain management, and uphold the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive production schedules aligned with customer demands, utilizing ERP systems and MRP modules to optimize resource allocation.
- Monitor daily manufacturing activities, ensuring adherence to production plans while adjusting for unforeseen issues through proactive problem-solving.
- Lead supply chain analytics efforts to identify bottlenecks, improve inventory accuracy, and streamline procurement processes.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and elevate process efficiency across the plant.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing team members on production operations, quality control measures, and mechanical troubleshooting to maintain high standards of product integrity.
- Manage plant operations by overseeing production activities, ensuring compliance with safety and plant protocols, and fostering a culture of operational excellence.
- Responsible for ensuring setup and changeover on production machines are done. Assist in troubleshooting machines as needed.
- Ensure various daily/weekly check list are being completed on time
- Conduct production meetings
- Train new team members on correct machine procedure or process to be followed.
Experience
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating strong leadership in plant management and operations management roles. Must be actively involved in production, safety, and quality issues to help find and implement solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms, with hands-on experience in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) for effective production planning.
- Strong background in manufacturing methodologies, process improvement initiatives, and supply chain management practices.
- Familiarity with mechanical concepts relevant to manufacturing processes and assembly operations
- Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
