Position Overview:
- Responsible for the spraying/applications of fertilizer, weed control, and insect control for our lawn and tree/shrub customers every 6-7 weeks
- Responsible for performing one-time services seasonally such as core aeration and mole cricket prevention
- Evaluate the condition of lawn, shrubs, and trees and treating them as needed
- Manage and grow a route that consists of 500 – 600 customers
- Collaborate with your customers by evaluating and communicating potential problems
- Continuously monitor the fertilizing and pest control methods after application and communicate progress to customers
- Drive, use, and maintain assigned company vehicle and company trailer
- Safely operate and maintain the vehicle and other assigned equipment (i.e. core aeration machine)
- Able to work independently on your route while enjoying the outdoors
- Utilize smart phone technology to provide excellent quality service to your customers
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Minimum requirements:
- Lawn Treatment Technicians must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test
- Exceptional customer service & communication skills
- Willingness and desire to learn about the lawn and tree/shrub care industry
- Demonstrates the ability to follow directions and pay close attention to detail
- Be a self-starter who enjoys working outdoors and in a team environment
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times including a polished uniform and clean vehicle
- Ability to meet physical job requirements including but not limited to: independently lifting or carrying 50 lbs., walking, standing, and bend for moderate periods of time
