Supply Chain Manager is responsible for demand planning, ocean freight coordination, inventory flow, and customer fulfillment. This role works across Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to align forecasts, production plans, freight schedules, and inventory levels so products are available when and where customers need them.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, planning experience, and a proactive approach to balancing service, cost, and inventory performance.
Candidates in Pacific, Mountain, and Central time-zones preferred to coordinate with overseas suppliers.
Reporting Structure: This role reports to the COO, with secondary reporting to the CFO and/or Controller.
What You’ll Do
· Analyze sales, inventory, and production data to support demand planning and business decisions.
· Develop and improve forecasting methods to increase accuracy and responsiveness.
· Prepare regular reports on trends, variances, and planning performance.
· Partner with cross-functional teams to align forecasts with customer demand and operational capacity.
· Monitor production versus plan to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
· Recommend production quantities and packaging needs while minimizing stockouts, excess inventory, product aging, and freight costs.
What We’re Looking For
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
· 5–10 years of experience in logistics, forecasting, demand planning, supply chain analysis, or a related area.
· Experience with ocean freight, warehousing, and inbound inventory management preferred.
· Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills; ERP system experience required.
· Excellent analytical, quantitative, and production planning skills.
· Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Grocery industry experience is a plus.
Preferred Systems Experience
· Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite and advanced Excel skills strongly preferred.
Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
