American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 1 year of experience and required Philips ultrasound system proficiency for a 13-week travel contract.

Outpatient/inpatient hospital echo lab setting serving an adult patient population
-
4x10 hour weekday shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
-
Weekend shifts from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday), with the possibility of extended hours; 2 weekends required per 6-week schedule

On-call required Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and weekends from 1:00 PM to 7:00 AM

40 hours per week

No floating required

Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced pay rate

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer; 2 years highly preferred

ARDMS or CCI RCS certification required

BLS certification required

Hands-on experience with Philips ultrasound systems is a hard requirement

Compact or NC license required if applicable — must be in hand at time of consideration

All required certifications must be in hand at time of consideration

1 supervisory reference from within the last year required for consideration

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Orientations are held bi-weekly
