Duties
- Clear and reset tables promptly, ensuring they are spotless and inviting for new guests
- Assist with food service by bussing tables efficiently and supporting servers as needed
- Maintain cleanliness through regular sweeping, mopping, and sanitation of dining areas, including chairs, floors, and service stations
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of tableware, chairs, or supplies following safe lifting practices
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs
- Support food safety standards by ensuring proper sanitation procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with internal communication to keep the dining area organized and running smoothly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required
- Strong cleaning skills with an understanding of sanitation standards in the food industry
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Customer service-oriented attitude with a positive approach to teamwork
- Knowledge of table setting, food safety protocols, and general restaurant operations is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk quickly between tables, and perform physical tasks efficiently
